THE LEAD · PANINI INSTANT WORLD CUP 2026
Mbappé #253 tells the best story in the set. We still need the price to settle.
Card #253 records Kylian Mbappé’s second Golden Boot and his new all-time World Cup scoring record. No other card in the tracked 2026 set says as much with one image and one caption.
It leads our Moment Score, but we would not call it a buy yet. We still need the base print run and enough completed sales to see where collectors value it after copies arrive.
The countdown should not make the decision for you.
A short window can make any card feel urgent. We would rather miss one than buy before checking the card, the final supply, recent sales, fees and the price in front of us.
